About Graphs

The dataset type GRAPH allows you to graphically display your search data. Some of the more common graph types included in the Big Faceless Report Generator have been included in the tool and are displayed below.

As the different graph types have their own instructions this part of the user guide has been divided into smaller sections. Follow the below instruction on how to add your chosen graph to your layout:

Instructions:

  1. From this page and the graph library, decide which graph you want to add to your layout.

  2. Depending on the graph type chosen, continue by reading the relevant page on how to create the search(es) for that specific type. (x + y, name + value, name + name2 + value)

  3. Read chapter Single search graph or Multi search graph depending on if your graph will include one multiple data sources.

  4. Finally read the chapter on how to add the graph in your layout.

Make sure to read chapter Dataset Filtering on how to dynamically filter your search/data.

Graph Library

In this user guide we have chosen to group the graphs into three different categories based on the parameters that they require. Each group has its own instructions on how to create the saved search(es) for that specific group. The three categories are x + y, name + value and name + name2 + value. In the graph library below, each graph's type is shown under the graph name.
